1. Introduction
PullUP! ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Pullup Development LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the PullUP! mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
a) Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, username, email address, date of birth, and profile photo.
b) Location Data
We collect your precise location while the app is in use to show your position on the map to friends and to surface nearby events and content. We do not collect location data when the app is closed or running in the background. You can hide your location from friends at any time in Settings.
c) User Content
We collect photos, videos, and text you post, share in messages, or use as profile or event images.
d) Messages
We store messages you send through the app, including direct messages and group circle chats.
e) Device Information
We collect your device token to send you push notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or in the app.
f) Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the app including posts, likes, comments, game activity, and experience points.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the app
- To show your location to friends you have connected with
- To send push notifications about activity relevant to you
- To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- To respond to support requests
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With other users as described in the app (location with friends, posts based on visibility settings)
- With service providers who help us operate the app: Supabase (database and authentication), Expo (push notifications), Mapbox (maps), Google (location search). These providers are contractually required to protect your data.

5. Data Retention
Posts expire and become visible only to you and friends after 24 hours. Saved messages are stored until you or the other party deletes them. Unsaved messages expire after 24 hours. If you delete your account, all of your data is permanently removed from our systems.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Hide your location: Settings → Privacy → Location Visibility
- Delete your account: Settings → Account → Delete Account (removes all data permanently)
- Disable notifications: device Settings → PullUP! → Notifications
- Contact us to request a copy of your data or ask questions about your privacy
7. Children's Privacy
PullUP! is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 17. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
